This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that Brainwave (“Brainwave”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website, including our waitlist, reservation, contact and careers forms. It does not cover the content you create or process on a Brainwave device, which stays under your control as described in section 2.

We handle personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, such as Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Brainwave is an on-premise AI computer. Prompts, files, documents, recordings and generated outputs are processed on the device on your own network, not in our cloud. Brainwave does not require a cloud account to work, and we do not receive the content you process on it.

- User accounts, permissions and workspaces are managed by your administrator through the Admin Dashboard on the device.
- The companion apps for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, and the CLI, connect to your Brainwave over your local network.
- Data leaves the device only if you or your administrator choose to connect an external service, such as a third-party tool or storage location. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

If your organization uses Brainwave, your organization (not Brainwave) decides how data on its device is used, kept and deleted. Questions about that data should go to your administrator.

We collect information you choose to submit through forms on our website:

- Contact form: your name, email address, company, the topic you select and your message.
- Careers: your name, email address, the role you are applying for, your CV or résumé, links you share and any other information you include in your application.

Please do not include sensitive personal information (for example, health information or government identification numbers) in a form unless we specifically ask for it.

- Hosting logs. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request information, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Fonts. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser information.
- Language preference. We store your language choice in your browser’s local storage under the key
bw-lang. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.

We rely on your consent (for example, when you join the waitlist), on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, on our legitimate interests in running our business and website, and on legal obligations. You can unsubscribe from waitlist emails at any time using the link in each email or through our contact page.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Waitlist details are kept until launch communications are complete or until you ask us to remove them. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up. Unsuccessful job applications are deleted after a reasonable period unless you agree that we may keep them for future roles. We may keep some information longer where the law requires it.
